Sarah Gill has 20 years’ experience as a veterinarian working in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia and holds a Master of Veterinary Studies in Conservation Medicine. She has treated thousands of sick and injured wildlife including the provision of routine preventative health treatment, disease diagnosis and medical and surgical treatment, as well as emergency euthanasia if required.
Her employment history includes working with an avian medicine specialist, and at the Australian Wildlife Health Centre at Zoos Victoria’s Healesville Sanctuary and being a full-time locum at the Australian Wildlife Health Centre. Sarah is a respected professional in the field of wildlife health services and has provided guidance on the development and implementation of Endangered Species Programs, supervision and training for veterinary nurses and animal keepers, as well as supporting academics in their field work with native species.
Biosphere has advised and worked on a range of wildlife health projects, liaising and consulting with a broad range of stakeholders including government agencies, academics, zoos and consultants.
